It's in!

We were given just 30 minutes notice that the installers would be arriving! We had been told Thursday of Friday so Barry rang for an update this morning. He heard nothing back so presumed Friday. At 3.15 they rang to say they would arrive in 30 minutes! Barry explained that the old stove which had to be removed was still burning and really hot. There was a mad dash to put it out. They arrived at 3.40 and decided they could go ahead. The old stove was removed to the garden and the new one built and installed. They were here until just after 7pm. Apparently it needs a couple of days of breaking in which will need a bit of a extra attention then hopefully it will be full steam ahead to constant warmth around the house. No more sooty,  black coal dust. Hooray! I'll keep you posted.
