Cnut

Knutsford takes its name it is said from Canute or Cnut, the 11th century king of England, Denmark and Norway. It is recorded as Canutesford in the domesday book of 1086. This is a cobbled together image of Cnut which I walked by.

I was here to collect orthotics and have some laser treatment on a foot. I arrived early so I could have a brief stroll into Tatton Park, which sits adjacent to the town. I didn’t visit the Park at all last year, it’s not a place for wheelchairs. It’s a good thing I put on my wellies, I’ve never known it this wet underfoot.
