Skies over St. Peter's Kirk

I headed up to the bird hide at The Loons and looked for the lesser yellowlegs seen there on Friday. It is a North American bird and I did not see it. No surprise ,really, as the vegetation of the marsh is now bery high and thick. I did have nice views of a snipe and shoveler ducklings etc.

I walked down to Marwick, then south to Skaill Bay where I took this photograph.
