The New Changing Room for Winter Swimmers

A morning shot of the new changing room for winter swimmers at Mältinranta, Tampere. The building has a secure veranda along the side, that is why the wall seems to have vertical stripes. Furthermore, one needs to be a member of the winter swimmers' association to get a key to the building.

The scene is from the north, as opposed to the picture of the old changing cabin in January.

The water is really refreshing at this spot even on a hot summer day, because of the Tammerkoski rapids downstream which connect the two lakes surrounding the city.

Unfortunately no dogs are allowed...
