Happiness is...

.... A pile of books waiting to be read.
John Irving is my favourite author and I have been saving "In one person" as I know I will love it. I have read a lot of Beth Gutcheon in the past and realised she had a new one out, her characters are all very real and people you can relate to.
I bought " Just in case " and " The adventures at willow farm" from a second hand bookshop. Meg Rosoff is a brilliant writer, she writes for teenagers but the books cross over to the adult market really well. I read the Enid Blyton title as a child and had an urge to re-live those farm adventures. A friend has lent me "Snobs" and the Alain de Botton is to expand my mind!
I am never happier than when I have a pile of books waiting to be read.
