Born On A Rainy Day

   Back in Edinburgh this morning and heading for my bu home when I saw this outside a fine art shop.

   It depicts a welder welding on a globe. Other than that, that was about a much as I could fathom. Yes, Connolly was a welder in a Glasgow shipyard a long time ago but the wings ??? 

   Maybe I should have gotten a bit more curious and gone in to ask about it.
