The Tulips are Out

Another early arrival, though I was watching an article last night that suggested that forsythias are much later than usual too bloom.

Despite the weather forecast on the BBC Weather app, it has been predominantly dry today.  I read something earlier this week that suggested that BBC weather err on the negative side of forecasts, choosing the worst possibility for each day with their icons.  In contrast the Met Office are more likely to forecast for the average of the possible weather conditions.  I do try to take account of the percentage possibility for rain, but probably mistakenly assume that 50% means it will rain for half the time, when in fact it is 50:50 chance it will rain at all.
