The Boy

The boy returned from Scout camp yesterday rather worse for wear. Too much sun on their 8 mile hike, no sunblock or hat used, not enough sleep, and unused toiletries, lovely. He's made it in to school today, but he was up in the night feeling hot and headachy about 3.30am, I'm way too old to be getting up in the night, and spent my shift at work with a headache. One fellow scout didn't even get to school, another left early.
B's computer has broken and he's saving to buy a gaming computer. He was asking about bank loans, paying them back and interest tonight. Then he gives me what he thinks is his sweetest grin and asks 'Do Mummy and Daddy loans have to be paid back as well?' I'll leave you to imagine my reply!

He usually shows little or no interest in blip, but tonight he's asked me if I'm can blip this for him. It's had to have a good crop, sandwich bag filled with water and pegged on the line, then shot at by B with his BB gun, not my usual sort of thing, but we've had fun, and got a bit wet!
