RED FAIRY DUSTER: CALIANDRA californica

This small, native shrub with fern-like leaves, seems to be 
thriving in my front garden.  After all our rain, it has been
blooming up a storm & hopefully, will continue through the 
Summer.  These blooms attract bees, hummingbirds & 
butterflies.  

This is my favorite plant in the front garden, because it
reminds me of the years I lived in Arizona.  Since my 
front garden is very hot & sunny in the Summer, 
I thought it would do well.  

Each day, Angus & I see it as we pass by on
our walks.
