Noel Gallagher and his newest fan!

Performing live at Solidays 2013 Festival in Paris.

What a day! Started off with a large coffee and chat with Elsa. I finally left the flat at around noon and after stocking up on snacks for the day cycled to the Longchamp hippodrome where Solidays took place. It was a nice ride out as I had to cycle through Bois de Boulogne and the weather was amazing (FINALLY)!

The festival itself was great! It was my first time at a music festival, so it was all very exciting, so many people and music and random things going on. I watched several acts. Some of which I didn't know. But my favorite was definitely Asaf Avidan (who sings One Day). David Guetta was good, but there were far too many (teenage) people that were a bit too "wild". This is a shot of Noel Gallagher on stage (with his band Beady Eye) and a little girl who was sat on her dad's shoulders for not only one, but at least 3 concerts and seemed more than happy to do so!

The day ended well, although towards the end of the day I managed to lose the rest of my group and my phone ran out of battery (perfect timing, NOT). But at least I got to watch the acts I wanted and I really enjoyed the music!! Now I see what the festival fever is about every summer!
