Among the daisies
This is one of the male pheasants that visits the garden. We call one Ken and the other one dinner. There is a female and for several years we have seen chicks around the end of July.He is in the middle of flapping his wings in this shot.Think there must have been something in the burn that was up setting him.
The field is full of daisies and buttercups and also stinging nettles near to our fence which had started to grow through to our garden so I spent most of the morning pulling them up.I have left some for the wildlife.
The weather could nt make its mind up again one minute sunny the next raining.
I thought I would have a relaxing afternoon watching the tennis but Murray is playing and he does nt do things easily.
Hoping it will be a nice evening and that the wind will die down.
