Justified and Ancient

A trip back in time this evening thanks to the generosity of my pal Frederick. Given the fact I’ve got a bus pass these days it’s rare to sample one dram that was distilled before I was born, let alone two on the same evening.

I’d paid penance in advance with a 50km bike ride in the garage. Should probably have eaten a bit more before I went out but age doesn’t always equate to wisdom.

Finished the night off with a 34 year old Highland Park. As they say, there’s a hole in the top of the bottle for a reason.
