Brough Castle

Many of you will have seen this castle from the A66 on the way from Scotch Corner to Penrith. Last time we visited was in 2018 when I was thinking it would be a good place for a blipmeet as it has a café with ice cream and lunches.

If you visit the café, you can use their car park while you have a look around the castle.

We made an afternoon visit out this way as a wanted a new duvet like the ones we use for our lodge visitors. "Feels like down" but is synthetic so no minute feather particles floating about in the air.
