Rainy BH monday

We woke up to rain and it rained most of the day! We decided we’d take the coast road up to Silloth - it felt at times as though it was the land that time forgot. Nothing inspired us to get out of the car and get wet, though we could spot places we recognised in Dumfriesshire across the solway firth from Silloth.

Rather than get back too early to the caravan and listen to the rain we decided we’d go back to the Saw Mill for a coffee - which thankfully provided my blip. I actually had a lemon mess ice cream sundae rather than a coffee . Well we are on holiday!
