Planting

Today the meeting included a break during which the VIPs participated in some tree-planting in celebration of our project which conserves a highly biodiverse area of Zambézia Province.

It was a successful day of presentations and updating various stakeholders on project progress. When the meeting finished everyone was standing on ceremony and melting on the sidelines with rumbling stomachs waiting for the District Administrator to finish her discussions so she could be the first to be served at the lunch buffet. It was after 3pm by the time we ladled up our stew and rice and the late troughing made me late for my next call. The grub was worth it.
