Stripping

The day began with a double trip to the tip to get rid of the chopped up wardrobes, bed, books for recycling and the general rubbish. 
Went for a run with S along the river and back via the canal.  Water levels are rising again.  
Started wallpaper stripping when we got back.  Some walls were easier than others.  With both of us armed with steam strippers it didn't take too long.  Clearing up bits of soggy sticky wallpaper and moving the remaining furniture around was less rewarding. By late afternoon we'd done as much as we could and we now need to get hold of plasterers and decide on carpets,  new furniture,  paint colours and work out the logistics of it all.
