Copperfields Bowling Club, Ffynnongroyw

TUESDAY

Today marked the start of the 2024 crown green bowling season and our opening fixture was an away game at Copperfields Bowling Club, Ffynnongroyw which is twelve miles from home using narrow cross country lanes.

Considering my lack of practice this year I played reasonably well but  lost 19-21 after fighting back near the end of the game.
