Mum’s firescreen

I thought I must have blipped this before, but couldn’t find it. I was inspired by Tweedy’s grandma’s footstool. Mum used to enjoy doing tapestry, but this was the last one she was able to do before she lost the use of her left arm. The frame was made by Mr Rothan (sp?), head cooper at the brewery, who like to have a change from barrel-making occasionally. 

A bit tricky to photograph, it being behind glass. The iPad did better than the camera.
