A step forward

I wielded the angle grinder the other day to grind off the rust and muck followed by a hose down and when dry an application of Kurust. Being sort chemistry savvy I quite like the science behind that product and what’s more over the years despite changes of name and manufacturer it still works.
Today after getting the other three edge trims on the new table top I gave the centre plate a coat of epoxy primer.
