Mia Chau Valley

Today we enjoyed a walk through the rice paddies, terraces and scenic green hills of the valley.  Unfortunately it was extremely hot and humid but we visited Na Phon village continuing to Lac Village ( home to the White Tai ethnic group) where we enjoyed an authentic country meal at a village house.  The food was exquisite - but after 3 hours walking in the heat I felt I didn’t do it justice.  Back to the Mia Chau hideaway resort where we had a welcome swim before doing boat trip up the reservoir.  Visited Fish Farm, had dinner and then watched traditional dancing by the pool.  Up early tomorrow for another busy day.
