Tawny Mining Bee

I haven't taken a bee shot for ages, so today was a good opportunity to dig out the macro lens and have a search in the garden to see what might be about.  In the end, I did eventually spot this chap, who is (I think) a male Andrea Fulva, or Tawny Mining Bee.  He was a very patient subject, probably something to do with feeling a little cold and torpid in the gloom  just before it started to rain.
