Readers' World #1

Thought I'd take up Booky Goatherd's invitation to join her in blipping readers, starting with me (or at least my hand) in the garden this morning with my current read. If you've not read it, I can thoroughly recommend it: written by a New Zealander and set in Papua New Guinea during the civil war in the 90s, with close reference to Great Expectations - a thought-provoking page turner.
