Life in a Northern Town

Go With the Flow

Set off from home with fluffy clouds floating across a blue sky, and a warm breeze. Arrived at Buckstones Edge, 15 minutes later in a full-on hoolie, pouring rain and a biting wind. Oh well, let's just go with the flow and walk anyway. The dog looked at me in utter disbelief when I opened the boot.

Well it was atmospheric. We were nearly blown off the rocks several times, and as I can sprain my ankle at the drop of a hat (once did it in the kitchen making a cup of tea), it was a risky business. But we survived and all cobwebs have been thoroughly blown away.

In the distance you can see the A62 snaking its way across the moor to Manchester.

It looks like I've desaturated the colour from the top of the frame but that's just how it was. My sensor grot is now very bad and I think it is time to pay a visit to the camera doctor.

Stones and going with the flow lead to only one song - the video is a tad saucy for a Monday......
