July Challenge: First

The first challenge for this brand new month is 'First'.

Last night I had grand plans of setting the alarm for 3.30 am and getting up and getting a good shot out over the river at first light. The alarm went off. I looked out. A nice dawn was beginning to appear. I went back to bed.

So instead you have me. In what must have been one of the first photographs taken of me in colour. It is also the first self portrait of me on blip ;-)

I think this was taken circa 1974, and I'm told that I loved to wear my dads huge wellies, despite having to fall over to get out of the things.

Don't you just love that waistcoat - what was my mum thinking!!!
