Black sheep
The clocks may have jumped forward an hour last night, but our body clocks didn't, so it wasn't a particularly early start this morning!
We had a late-morning local circular walk, along the Cliff towards Washpit Mill and back through Holmfirth. En route we paused briefly to look at some black and white sheep and lambs in a field. The lambs seemed very used to people, and the one to the right of the Blip ran up to the gate a few times and seemed to like having its head rubbed. Surprisingly, this little jaunt turned out to be almost as far as yesterday's.
Tom and Lucy both had commitments for late afternoon, and it was impossible for them to get home on public transport due to the distinct lack of it on Easter Sunday. So, after a rather hurried lunch, we set off to take them back to their respective homes, stopping off very briefly at Lucy's to say hello to Barry the cat, before MrM drove us back again. Lovely to spend some time with Tom and Lucy.
Not a good ending to the day; the less said, the better...
