Cloud Ring

Tess and I met our friends Roger and Jo and Polly the collie for an EasterMonday walk and coffee on Ham Hill this morning. It was extremely busy with fellow walkers enjoying some warm sun but I managed to capture the War Memorial in splendid isolation, encircled only by cloud.

Afterwards we nipped into Yeovil to do a bit of shopping and to grab a bit of lunch in Wetherspoon’s.

Meanwhile, there was drama at Yeovil’s away game at local rivals Weymouth. With Yeovil losing 1 0 with 15 minutes to go a fan was taken seriously ill and the air ambulance had to land on the pitch to treat them and get them to hospital. This meant a lengthy delay and eventually a decision was made to abandon the match, meaning it will need to be rescheduled. Just hope the fan concerned is OK.

As the second place team surprisingly lost against the bottom team in the league, we now need just one more win to be sure of being promoted as Champions
