Boule

Not to be confused with boules (also known as pétanque, and nothing whatsoever to do with pelota)...

And no, it is not an April fool boule. 

In fact it is delicious - so good the best way to eat it is with just butter (unsalted, obviously).  

But yes, not much happened in my life on this first day of the fourth month. 

I did learn the difference between culantro and cilantro/coriander. I have no idea where I might buy culantro without going on a trip to Edinburgh. 

All this was part of my first experiment with making sofrito. So far so good. It is cooling a little before the final stage - in the blender. It may get Blipped another day.
