Ice run at lake Saimaa

Warm Easter Monday. Like a promise of the spring for those who are smart not to read weather forecasts and settles for enjoying while it's warm. Unfortunately I know that the spring has been cancelled for now, the winter is coming back tomorrow.

We stopped by the harbor to see if lake Saimaa is still covered with ice. The dock was still under ice, but open water started from the breakwater piers. From many places the Saimaa is still frozen.
