Flat landscape

As a young boy I used to visit my Aunt several times a year. She lived with my Uncle and cousin in a small village on the edge of the Fens in Huntingdonshire.

I was always a little afraid of the flatness of the countryside. It always seemed you could see for ever and it all looked the same. In the distance you could see the steam trains heading between Edinburgh and London Kings Cross.

My Blip was taken as we drove home after a great weekend away. I looked out and the memories of what I had once thought of as a featureless expanse came flooding back.
