One of last year's cygnets stubbornly remains, despite repeated attempts at chasing it off by both of its parents. It spends all its time on, or, as here, near the upper lochan at Inverness Campus. The adults spend most of their time on the larger lower lochan, where it's safer from predators for them to nest.
