Life on Mars?

A local engineering company came to school today to run sessions with our Year 8 classes, during which they had to design a base on Mars.

The teachers weren’t supposed to help them but I felt I had no choice when one group put the bedrooms and bathroom as far apart as possible and I asked them what they would do if they needed a wee in the night.
