Lioness Approaching

Our second night in an overnight hide was much more eventful than our first where we didn't have many visitors at all.  We had only been in the hide for about an hour when four lions showed up to have a drink.  This was actually my first shot of the series and it will take me a bit of time to go through all of them. In the end two females and males came to drink and thankfully I was able to pull myself together and restrain my excitement enough to get some shots.  

Later in the night we were visited by a bachelor herd of Cape Buffalo who stayed until about 12:30 a.m. only to return before sunrise.  We were quite the sad sacks when we got picked up at 9 am in the morning.
