Porch plants

I grabbed a couple of quick snaps of these as I returned from an evening Church service. It’s incredible how they survive in the porch with such little care.
I arose early as usual today with the added incentive of a Sunday lunch to prepare for a couple of guests and so lots of veg to peel and chop, plus a joint of lamb to prepare and put in the oven before leaving for the morning Service.
A joyous church service with lots of catch up chat afterwards was enjoyed.
L and her eldest daughter joined Auntie and I for a lovely roast dinner before a short but extremely productive stint on the front lawn with the strimmer.(I supervised)
Another Christian service at 16:00 was enjoyed after which I had a lovely stroll along interesting pathways accompanied by some warm sunshine and beautiful bird song.
A simple tea of poached egg on toast and a hot Crossbun was ample to finish the day.
