While we were waiting

Keeping ourselves busy while waiting for C to return from grocery shopping to let us into the house. I didn't take a key with when we went for a walk and C locked the door out of habit when he left.

Fortunately the weather was good. I used the time to hoe a few stinging nettles and other weeds and then we sat on the bench taking selfies.

After brunch C looked at the Sainsbury's receipt to check something and realised that the first £43 worth of items weren't ours. We went back and they said that it is a known thing that the till doesn't clear after payment and the next customer's items are just added on instead of starting at £0. One wonders whether the first customer's payment went through at all and whether there are some shenanigans going on.

Minute steaks and chicken livers for supper.
