One's motor launch

What with it being Easter Sunday, I went down to the quayside to inspect my motor launch, the MV Eternal Optimist. Some vassels were slapping dark blue paint on her side.
“That’s no good,” I shouted. I want a band of Russell tartan all around the hull. Go and fetch some tartan paint.” They departed looking sheepish. Right enough, pay peanuts and all you get is monkeys!
“Fire up the engines Captain Ahab. Let’s take her out for a spin.”
