Danger

This warning sign is next to a huge drainage ditch between the A1(M) and the old lay-by. It has always struck me as being completely pointless as I have never seen it with more than a trickle of water along the gulleys at the bottom even after the heaviest of rain…see extra. In the extra the sign is just out of shot at the top of the bank on the left. The little rivulets disappear underground toward the top of the shot.

I think you are more likely to be in danger from the muppets that have been firing air pistol/rifle pellets at the sign…
