Gourdon Harbour
The weather today is sunny and bright.
We decided that we would drive up to Stonehaven and enjoy Fish and Chips at The Bay. We decided to drive along the Angus Costal Path visiting the small towns of St. Cyrus, Johnshaven and Goudron.
Also planned was a visit to Inverbervie, before Stonehaven.
Today’s entry shows a wall mural on the Harbour Bar at Gourdon.
We visited various galleries and took several photographs and walked around Gourdon Harbour.
We discovered The Quayside Restaurant & Fish Bar and enjoyed an excellent lunch therein. Pat being Coeliac carefully enquired about the gluten free options available.
We enjoyed an excellent lunch overlooking Gourdon Harbour. Pat then ‘interviewed’ the chef and restaurant manager about their regimes for preparing gluten free. All excellent as they should be.
On our return Pat then wrote a detailed report on the Scottish Coeliac Facebook group page rating this restaurant very highly.
We then travelled back the way we had come enjoying the coastal scenery and the marvellous sea views.
Our next visit to Gourdon will be planned to visit the Maggie Law Maritime Museum followed by Lunch in the next month or so.
