Phone Granny!

Ivy apparently signed to her parents that she wanted to have a call with Granny.  Everyone delighted partly because she’s now recovered from her illness earlier this week but also because it’s such a good indicator of her abilities.  Here we are in the middle of the call, Rory is also in the house and joining in periodically from the sofa - in case you think this is just an out of focus picture of a screen. 

Gorgeous day today!  Sunny and if not warm then not cold either.  I finally managed to get going with the gardening and on the way back from Pilates bought some new herbs and started the process of revivifying the garden for the coming season!  SO much to do of course. 

Picked Rory up from Guildford (Replacement Bus Service) but it’s really not that far from here.   Dinner was the much heralded Chicken Ruby from Dishoom and very delicious it was as well.   We watched a first cut of the film that came from Rory’s trip to Haiti just before Christmas.   Let’s just say that there is some really good footage of Jimmy Barbecue talking!
