Over Yonder

He-llo!

My Dear Princes and Dear Fellow,

Today it was Tiger and Loulou's wedding!

(Actually a renewal of vows, but "sssshhhh" as Loulou told the group.)

Loulou gave everyone jobs. I was on "meet and greet". Which was to head off attendees as they came toward the cottage and point them to the drinks.

Caro was on "duck sh*t removal". So I feel I got the better end of the deal. Both Loulou and Tiger were looking cool and amazing. As you can see, Tiger was looking very 1970's cop in his vintage jacket. He struck this pose for me as Caro fixed his trousers.

"He-llo!" he said, as she fiddled with his seam.

Loulou wore flowers in her hair and a white dress. Meanwhile, Trudie was wearing a green version of the same thing, and Tiger's "best ma'am" (his sister) looked stunning in a big blue frock. The party was led to their back porch by a fiddler, where the celebrant was waiting.

The marriage was very them. There were a number of readings that reflected their personality and then a druid ceremony which involved us standing in a circle and manifesting good intentions for the couple into a kōwhai tree.

After the ceremony, we all headed off to Anzil's a Hungarian restaurant for the meal and the speeches. The best one came from Loulou's dad and the biggest larf of the evening came when he talked about Loulou taking a mixologist course in London.

"She would tell us stories of all the cocks-tails..." he began, mis-speaking.

"He-llo!" said Loulou and the place erupted in laughter.

Loulou and Tiger are SUCH a well-matched couple.
