Brotzeit

Invitation from sweet neighbors to enjoy some German bread, warm pretzels, cold cuts and cheese. Lots of lively conversation. A tour of the garden and the chicken coop ended our visit on a very surprising note: first the lady of the house collected 12 fresh eggs, one still warm, for us to take home and then all of a sudden she discovered about 15 more that were laid in the middle of an old tire…. I should have taken a picture of that surprise treasure
