Tadpoles ........

No - not the feather ..... but it turned out a lot better than my attempt at the tadpoles.

I was at the shop early doors.
Then it was take the kitten to the vet for Bags - just a check-up after her neutering  the other day.
After that it was back to the shop for forgotten articles (my head has been a bit 'fuzzy' this week).

This afternoon I was at the lathe for a short time. The only things completed there were a couple of spinning tops .... but I did prepare a couple of blanks from the wood I got from next door.

As we were cooking dinner there was a call for a pick-up at M&S.
They donate some really good stuff (expensive joints and salmon amongst it tonight) but there are 2 negative points ..... everything is loose (not bagged) and with it being the weekend some stuff really needs to be put in fridges and/or freezers which can be a problem as we tend to keep ours pretty full for efficiency. Luckily we managed to get stuff away with overflow going into a couple of cooler bags.
On the way home we also stopped at The Larder and picked up some stackable crates from the back door so that when Marie (the one who arranges these pick-ups) comes tomorrow she is not vanishing with all out shopping bags. She is going to have to take the dozens of bunches of flowers loose because she is not getting all the waste baskets and buckets from our house which are currently filled with beautifully scented flowers.
