Mocuba

I’d previously only rattled through Mocuba on a chapa travelling from Gurué to Quelimane during one of my Christmas holiday adventures. As I like travelling to obscure towns with no obvious tourist attractions, I am happy to be staying in Mocuba this time, even if it’s for work.

Today the chances to escape the meeting room to absorb the charms of Mocuba were limited. But as the afternoon drew to a close and I was able to poke around the main road, I enjoyed the colours and skies of this corner of Mozambique.
