Sunshine and mud

As you can imagine conditions were rather muddy in the forest. No major mistakes and pleased to be ninth in my class given it is my last year in the W65 age class.

We planned a visit afterwards to the National Memorial Arboretum which was close to where we are staying. A lovely sunny wander round. Parts were under water but managed to see many of the exhibits. I had to be patient with the main as children enjoyed weaving in and out of the panels as their parents took pictures. Then wait for the sun to pop out from behind the clouds.

Rounded off the day with a meal out at an excellent Italian restaurant in Rudgeley. Hopefully it will fuel me round the long tomorrow!
