The Red One

Yesterday was the day for the little pink tulips, and several more have opened today.

But this is the first of my regal looking red tulips. They are always the tallest of the tulips and a beautiful rich red velvet. A very welcome sight indeed.

With such beauty, no wonder the ant took up residence so quickly.
