On the Mogollon Rim

We drove up on the rim today to find some cooler air... we did. 15 degrees F cooler moving up from 5000 ft to over 7000 ft. elevation. The eighties are comfortable, the 90's and 100's are ugly. This tree is a Alligator Juniper hundreds of years old with it's "arms" outstretched. They're quite a few in this area at this high elevation in Arizona. In the distance you can see where we began our drive up.
