I was up in the wee hours in the dark....couldn't get back to sleep. At 5 I decided to make a rice pudding. That always makes the house smell good. At 20 after 6 I was out on my deck capturing some of the early light behind my mountains. I was back on the deck at 10 to 7 to see the light coming up further. At 10 after 7 I caught the first rays over the ridge and onto my deck. My house is so filled with sun this morning that I've had to move my laptop to my bedroom so I can actually see the screen. 

It will be a low mileage day. I'm staying home to work in my sewing room.
