After an unsuccessful attempt to visit Wells, where the cars were queuing to join queues to circle around the car parks to look for a space, we gave up and headed home. By way of consolation, we stopped off at Palette & Pasture, a former dairy farm turned artisan gelato parlour where they make small batches of some fabulous flavours, from their remaining 60 or so cows. Mr W opted for a scoop of Biscotti in his cone and I had Mini Egg in mine, which was so good that we brought a tub home.
