Thames at Richmond

Today (Good Friday) I felt well enough to join Andy and Merlin on a trip up to London to visit family including his son who is visiting from Scotland.

Before dinner we had a gentle wander along the Thames but had to divert to avoid the river which, at high tide, was flooding into the near by streets. In this photo you may be able to see some of the flooding - which had trapped people in one of the pubs!

In the evening we gathered with Andy’s two sisters and their families, along with his step mother and five dogs. Good to catch up with everyone.
