Minions!

We were up and out early this morning, as we had decided to take the boys to the cinema to see Despicable Me 2. The boys quite like the first one - it seems to be one of the favourite films on the media centre, and I quite like it too!

With the exception of a few trips to the cinema with mrs monochrome when Aidan was a baby (as part of 'The Big Scream'), neither of the boys have been to the cinema, so we weren't sure if they would like it, or if they would have the attention span to sit through it. Aidan was a bit frightened at first when the sound effects first came on (in fairness, it was quite loud), however he was fine when the trailers started. By the time the actual film started, he was loving it. Logan was absolutely fine too - he did his best to work through the entire bucket of popcorn, taking offense if I took it off him so that Aidan and I could get some!

Despite mrs mono and I thinking that they might start playing up after a while (and thinking that we might potentially have to leave early), both of them sat and watched the whole thing absolutely fine. They better not get too used to it though - 30-quid for 2 adults and 2 kids to get in to the cinema - not including the popcorn?! Daylight robbery!
