Book club

This month’s book club choice. Really looking forward to reading this one. “Beloved” last month was a harrowing if brilliant read. My book club is not renowned for either reading the book or talking about it for long. But this book seemed to buck the trend with lots of discussion and those who hadn’t read it intending to.
Finally succumbed to colds that grandchildren have been recycling for some time today. Felt rotten in the morning and ended up having a pyjama day, drinking lots of fluids and keeping warm. Much better by the evening so unusually it may be a short lived cold!
